Fabio Carraffa is a Blues/Rock/ Metal guitarist with huge experience in both a live and studio setting.
He began to take an interest in the electric guitar at the age of 13 forming the first bands with schoolmates in middle school and his professional career began at the age of 20 seeing him collaborate until today with many Italian artists (Zucchero Fornaciari, Andrea Mingardi, Mario Venuti, Vanadium/Pino Scotto, Maurizio Vandelli, Rita Pavone, Dody Battaglia, Fio Zanotti, Marco Rancati, Etc.) and with several international artists (Zakk Wylde, Paul Gilbert, George Lynch, and Steve Vai) participating in many tours and TV shows in Italy and abroad.
Beyond this he has worked in parallel for more than 15 years in national (Disma, MIS, Meet Show, Secondhand, etc.) and international (Frankfurt Muzik Messe, NAMM Show) music fairs as a demonstrator for the brands: Viper Guitars, Roland, Eko, Master Music, Washburn Guitars, Randall Amps, Marshall Amps, Rocktron and many more. He is currently sponsored by VIPER GUITARS and LABELLA Strings.
High-level teacher, he has been teaching electric guitar for over 25 years for the Blues, Rock & Metal genres, has taught in numerous schools in Northern Italy, among which the Lizard Music Academy, Modern Music Academy, Massive Arts Music School, Yamaha Music School, MoonHouse Music School. He currently teaches electric guitar courses at New Profile Studio in Milan.
Besides teaching, he has also published several methods for guitar published by Amazon such as: ROCK GUITAR UNIVERSE, ROCK GUITAR MODES, PERFECT GUITAR CONTROL, READY to ROCK! Vol.1 e Vol.2. He also collaborated as a producer for the Carisch Spa publishing house on the entire ULTIMATE MINUS ONE series.
Not only a world-class guitarist but also an outstanding composer and producer with a catalog of personal albums including HIC ET NUNC, MAZES OF THE MIND, and DNA made with his band SOUL VIBES.
In recent years he has started making concerts in the United States, making 2 tours in the states of California, Nevada, and Colorado, playing his instrumental songs, and enjoying great approval from the American audience.
